Established in 1957, Bayview Yacht Club Junior Sailors is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. Donations to the organization directly help with the upkeep of our waterfront facility, equipment, future capital improvements and our scholarship fund.

Our mission is to inspire and educate children, young adults, and amateur sailors through the sport of sailboat racing, fostering a love for the water, teamwork, and personal growth. We provide a supportive environment where aspiring sailors, guided by experienced coaches, develop skills, resilience, and a sense of responsibility. By instilling a passion for competition and sportsmanship, we aim to nurture future leaders both on and off the water. Through our dedication to excellence, we strive to create lifelong enthusiasts and ambassadors of the sport.

For 2024, our focus is on maintaining and developing the following areas:

Safety and Equipment: Ensuring our students have access to well-maintained boats and safety gear is paramount to their learning experience.

Coach Boat Maintenance: Currently, we are facing deferred maintenance with our coach boats and are seeking to restore them to optimal condition.

Program Expansion: Your support can help us reach even more youth in the community, fostering a love for sailing and the water.
